If you have not cleared the clipboard it will retrieve whatever was last copied but when you copy something new the clipboard contents will be overwritten. There is no simple way of getting the clipboard history back by the means of Windows OS.

To check clipboard history you need to use special software - clipboard manager. Clipdiary will save all what you are copying to the clipboard. Different types of text, pictures, html, lists of copied files... So you can simply check clipboard history whenever you want and copy the items back to the clipboard and reuse them.

After you installed Clipdiary clipboard manager all you need to check your clipboard history is to hit Ctrl+D to pop up clipboard history viewer

Happy People

If your life isn't based around endlessly copying & pasting links, image file names and chunks of text emailed out by company press departments into web windows, you might not appreciate it so much. But for me, Clip Diary's something I fire up about 30 times a day - and each time I metaphorically wipe my brow in relief.
